Eight-year-old Kassaundra has a heart condition, but when you meet her you quickly learn that her heart is full of music, poetry and love. She expresses herself by singing, writing songs, playing her guitar and dancing. So, it should be no surprise that this bubbly little girl has wished to be a famous singer. With a little help from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a few of its friends AND YOU, Kassaundra’s wish is about to come true.

Like any famous star, Kassaundra is in the midst of preparing for her debut. First on the agenda was shopping for just the right wardrobe. San Francisco-based Gymboree, designer for children stars everywhere, opened its doors to Kassaundra for her very own shopping spree.

Then, it was down to more serious business as Kassaundra met with vocal coach Leslie Noel for private voice lessons.

|
Since no starlet would be without her required "headshots," Kassaundra spent some time posing for her portfolio with professional photographer Gina Staffiery.

|
When disc jockey Joe Rock of 107.7 The Bone heard the buzz that Kassaundra was about to break onto the San Francisco music scene, he invited her to the radio station's studios to work on recording some of the music she had written. With the help of Clean White Lines, Kassundra's music video is close to being released. |
