We heard recently from the father of former wish kid Christopher.  He wanted to share with us one of the lasting effects of Christopher's wish (other then the actual "incredible" wish memories). During his wish Christopher met a couple other Make-A-Wish kids, one in particular who had leukemia and wasn't doing as well as Christopher. After talking with Christopher, the other wish child said to his family, ‘If Christopher can beat cancer, I can too.’ Since that time, Christopher and his family have been involved in a program where they mentor other kids and parents going through what they went through, and Christopher said it's been great for him to talk about his experiences and help other kids, something that wouldn't have been possible has he not had his wish.

Dateline Paris -June 18: Eighteen-year-old Ori is having such a great time with his family on his wish trip to Paris that he sent us this photo today.  He will be coming home in a few days.
